Summary:
The book matched is about a controlled society. In the book when you turn 17 they choose who you are going to be matched with. At Cassia’s 17th birthday she finds out that it is her best friend Xander. But her micro card says that she is going to be matched with a mystery boy Ky.
Point of view:
In the book this is a first person point of view. This is first person point of view because it is Cassia telling the story. She is the protagonist in the story, because she’s the main character. First person point of view helps you connect with the character. It helps you understand and feel like you are in the book. First person point of view is good for the book Matched, because it helps you feel like you are in the book and you are able to connect with the characters better and how they feel during the book. You are able to relate to how Cassia is feeling about everything and what is going on in her life. You can really feel how Cassia feels about her close friendships and that she really cares about Xander and Ky.
Opinion:
I think that this book was really good. It has a really good storyline and helps you understand what is going on. You are able to understand the character and feel what they are feeling. I like how it shows what Cassia is going through after turning 17 and her controlled society choosing her match. I love the close friendships in the book with Cassia, Xander, and Ky. I like how it has the character and how Cassia and Ky have a secret forbidden love that the society is not happy about. I like how you can feel how they are feeling and really connect with them.
