SOLVED. Romance - cat shifter - another dimension - baby. [s]

I read a blurb at the back of another book recently, last 5 months, and can't stop thinking about it. But dont remember the author or the book that it was in.

Theres a woman on earth who can suddenly communicate with cats and they make her go out to this field in the middle of nowhere. Its where animals get abandoned a lot and she's been there before, so off she goes. Only to find a baby panther - maybe, but for sure a baby large cat. She takes it home and cares for it only to have it turn into a baby boy in the middle of the night.

Then theres a alien other dimension man whose the leader of some cat shifting race. His brother dies and he's now the guardian for his nephew but the kid disappears suddenly. So he has to go search for the baby, but has to do it quietly so there isn't a panic or coup.
