One of the books I would recommend is The Truth about the Harry Quebert Affair. Love love love that book :)

Nothing like a good audiobook!!
Nothing like a good audiobook!!

I'm looking forward to reading this, please let me know what you think when you finish!

I started reading To Kill a Kingdom, but I'm trying to finish the other books before I keep diving further into this one. To Kill a Kingdom

This is on my TBR, can't wait to see what you think :-)

I loved BLL! Can't wait to see what you think :-)
The HBO series is really entertaining as well

Instead of waiting for the library to fulfill all my TBR I'm now going through books I already own. So after finishing The Last One and Pet Semetary, I'm now reading Scarlet (borrowed) and The Girl on the Train which I've owned for quite a while now, but I've put off on reading it.

In the past I have read The Hunger Games and the Divergent trilogy, but my only recent YA fantasy reads like this have been the first 3.5 books of The Lunar Chronicles. I'm impressed so far anyway. I know lots of people rave about Sarah J. Maas and I'm not disappointed yet!

And now I am reading my first novel from Isabel Allende: The Island beneath the Sea
I also have make a promise to not buy any more books. At least until I finish all the books I own. Let's see how good I am to keep it...keep failing every year haha.
I'm currently reading This Is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor and it's actually a lot funnier and easier to read than I thought it would be! Really enjoying it!

Well I haven't buy a book since may haha. Going to the library now if I need to get a book. But I know myself won't be possible to stay away from a bookstore from today until end of the year...

A little while ago I finished The President is Missing by Bill Clinton and James Patterson and it was just ok to me.

I'm currently reading Letter to My Daughter by Maya Angelou and I've just started Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton, really enjoying them both! Has anybody else read them?

I'm currently reading, The Rosie Result (which is going to give me a Huge book hangover! I've lived this series soooo much!) and Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance which is absolutely fascinating.

Also starting A Game of Thrones audiobook, figure I will jump on that bandwagon since "Winter is coming!". Lol.

Kindle: Getting Lucky for Christmas (I literally read these books in the order of buying them. I got this book years ago DX)-Melanie Marks
Physical: The House at the Edge of Night-Catherine Banner

Ehhhhhhhhhh, kinda not really. Getting Lucky for Christmas is basically a teen romance written by boomers and I tried getting into the House at the Edge of Night, but it was dense and boring.

Is it as good as you expected? Would you recommend it or are you close to throwing it in the lonely "not finished" shelf? If there is a book that you are particularly passionate about, please feel free to create your own thread to discuss!
