Hi I'm Ariana. I love KoTLC and Story Thieves, and just about any other book I can get my hands on. I ship Team Foster-Keefe even with what happened in Flashback (my friend and I concocted a whole theory about how Keefe and Dex will be back in the game in book 8). I am an antisocial introvert and I spend most of my time reading or watching How To Train Your Dragon.

I read the Story Thief Series! I loved the first book but I felt as if the series went downhill from there.

The theory is that Sophie will avoid telling Fitz that she is unmatchable and he will find out through Alden or Grady and Edaline and will get super mad. Then, she'll go to Keefe to ask him about what to do (becasue he has known Fitz for forever) and he will try to help but will mess it up a bit by trying to joke or something. So Sophie will go to Dex and he will comfort her, and BOOM! Even with Keefeś mistake, both he and Dex are back in the running.

It isnt very likely, but one can hope.

My theory is that Fitz will do something so unforgivable that he will have no one (characters and fans) left. He's Mr. Perfect, right? Well, no one is perfect, so to speak, and Shannon will have to sway her shippers for Sophie to pick someone. She can't just have Sophie say, I love Keefe because that would make Sophitz mad. And vice versa. Therefore she must sway her readers. A clear option would be making Fitz do something SO bad, no one can support him anymore. And Keefe's already made his big mistake. Anyway, Shannon needs a reason for all fans to ship Foster-Keefe, and what better reason than to make Fitz turn. It's already been foreshadowed by his relationship with Alvar. He nearly killed him, remember? So that may spiral into something much bigger because look how repulsed Sophie already was. Anyway, that's my theory. And it's not like, oh no, Fitz is gone, I guess I'll have to settle for Keefe. It's more of Sophie realizing, oh, wow, I was wrong about Fitz, I actually love Keefe. It works because even her subconscious loves Keefe (based on his hints he receives when he "read her" through his empathy talent). Only her conscious self, or her head- EX: Fitz and Sophie being cognates and telepaths- loves Fitz, but her heart loves Keefe.

What is this 'thing' Fitz will do that is so evil? You forget that Keefe has actually turned to the Neverseen and Fitz has never gone against Sophie unreasonably or evilly

Keefe joined the Neverseen to try and infiltrate them and take them down from the inside. It failed, obviously, but he was acting in his friends' best interests. I think that what Luna is talking about is that Fitz will get so angry (because we all know what happens when he's angry) that he'll do somehting super bad, like actually kill someone.

I definitely agree with you Luna, but I don't think Fitz will do anything necessarily evil, because that would break a lot of very fierce and steadfast Sophitz, or even just Fitz, fans' hearts. But I do feel like he will probably betray Sophie in some way and think he's too good for her or something(or maybe he'll be too controlling), and then Dex, as the loyal best friend that he is, will comfort her when she's hurt, and in the end, she'll realize that Keefe has been there waiting for her throughout the whole entire series, no matter what happens or goes down. He had never once thought to even look at another girl(Linh) which both Fitz and Dex did readily and without a second thought. And while Fitz did break her heart, they still make up after a while because the team can't function with two key members hating each other. Idk if they'll stay cognates or not though......who knows?🤷🏻‍♀️

Look, I'm a Team Fitzphie. A lot of you are Foster-Keefe. That's our OPINIONS and they are nothing more. I think we all need to take a step back ,a deep breath in, and realize that neither Keefe or Fitz are perfect. Neither Fitz or Keefe are supposed to be perfect. And guess what? I feel like Fitphie would turn out better. You think it won't. I think we both should agree that whatever happens, it'll be OK as long as Fitz, Keefe AND Sophie are ALL happy in the end. I'm team Fitzphie, yes, but my main goal is only that the three of them are ALL happy.

Also, I NEED Fitz and Sophie to stay cognates or else I'll probably stop reading KOTLC because it would literally be ruined. More like beaten like a pinata then crushed by a gigantic train then thrown into the ocean then thrown into a blender then ripped into shreds and eaten by a shark then burned and burned again then more sharks then a trillion more sharks and then lasers and then shredded some more then whatever was left would be thrown in some mud and left behind. OK... Maybe a little dramatic... but the point is, I think I and many other fans would lose all hope in KOTLC.

I agree with Penny, although I'm not sure if Fitz would be controlling, because he doesn't seem like that kind of guy. I might have already said this, but maybe he'll get really mad and say some hurtful things to Sophie, and maybe they aren't unforgivable but it hurts their relationship. Not so far as to break Cognatedom, (or however you spell that word) but that they'll need a break from dating for a while.

I'm not trying to insult Fitz, but all characters have their faults. Fitz can get angry, Keefe can be rash, Dex can hold a grudge, Sophie can hide from the truth (especially when it comes to the previous three mentioned), Mr. Forkle, can withhold, etc. etc.
