lol sorry for the spoiler!!! Yikes I feel so bad!!! I am never going to spoil anything again. I’m not going to tell u how they end Bc I was too an unlucky one. I was on a ski lift and this girl totally spoiled book four for me. It was during Hanukkah and I hadn’t gotten the book yet but it had come out like 2 weeks b4. And the girl told me everything and then the next day I read the book and discovered EVERYHTING she said was true😭😭

Hey has anyone here read any books by Jennifer Nielsen?

She's written The False Prince (The Ascendance Trilogy), The Mark of the Thief Trilogy, Sourge, Resistance, A Night Divided, and, most recently, The Traitor's Game, which has a soon-to-be-released sequel coming!

They are great books, trust me, and fairly appropriate for the most part (some dark concepts/violence) if that's something you look for.

Hm, I haven't heard of her, but I'll definitely look her up!! Are the genres of those books like fantasy, action, adventure, etc?? What age group do you think the series might be best for?

The age groups.... ooh that's hard. Because they're really appropriate, but the writing style and concepts are mature to the point that many high school age teens probably would also enjoy them. I'd say 12-16, maybe, but it all depends. There is some dark violence/concepts, but language and other "inappropriate" references are really at a minimum.

The False Prince and The Traitor's Game are fantasy (high stakes adventure type, not fantasy epic but with that down to earth fantasy feel).

The Mark of the Thief is also fantasy but takes place in ancient Rome -- gods and stuff, but don't worry it's not at all Rick Riordan cliche.

Scourge is fantasy/dystopian sci-fi. A Night Divided and Resistance are both historical fiction.

It's okay. My school and community are pretty helpful as well. The most difficult part is that I can't find a bunch of books or series that I really enjoy reading, like KOTLC isn't found in local bookstores, which really sucks.
