I found the meanings for the names by other sources, I can't remember what, but here's what I got:
Sophie does mean wisdom, I heard this from Shannon herself. Shannon at first was considering the name Alexandra, because it meant warrior, or hero, or something like that, but then decided on Sophie, because of its meaning
Fitzroy does mean son of the king
Keefe means handsome. Also Sencen means "sensing"
Dexter actually means "right-handed" and comes from the same root word as dexterous, which means to have skill with the hands. This makes sense because Dex is a technopath, therefore skilled with the hands
Biana means "fair skinned"
Tam literally means "twin"
Lihn does mean "soul"
Alden means "wise friend" which I found really made sense because Alden was the first adult that Sophie could really turn to for help
Della, Grady, and Edaline all mean "noble"
and here are a few others:
Marella means "star of the sea"
Maruca means "snail" XD (I'm so sorry Maruca)
Wylie means "clever"
Stina means "pure" (I think this is used as a sense of irony)
and one of my personal favorites: Elwin means "elf"

I actually agree with all of those meanings and I think they are linked to the person in some way.
Sophie is wise- she knows what it's like to be both human and elf, so she can relate to both of them.
Fitz is like the son of the king, based off the way he's treated.
I think we all agree that Keefe has the perfect name.
Dex (Or Dexter) does dye Iggy a lot (?) and he is full of energy, like names with Xs in them suggest.
Biana (only spelt with one N) means fair skinned (the definition changes with the extra N). She is an idol and she rocks beauty- in her own way. I think that this one makes a lot of sense.
I think Tam is actually an honest, caring person. After all, he makes sure others are honest before he trusts them. Underneath his hard shell, he is a soft and kind person who cares deeply for the people he loves.
For Linh, Ling also means 0 (in Mandarin), so maybe it's meant to contradict her character and show what her parents thought her potential was (if that makes sense?). Also, Linh pours her soul into things she is passionate about, like mastering her hydrokinesis.
Alden's name actually makes sense, if you think about it. He is like an old friend to Sophie, since he has known her for all her life, in a way.
For Della, I mean, she is very noble (aka she's in the nobility)
Grady is noble too

Hi I'm Cookie! I haven't read all of the KOTLC books yet, but I want to. I play Soccer and Tennis. I also play the piano and guitar and sing (not that I'm any good lol). I love animals and reading and eating and listening to music and - well I might as well not name it all 🙄😶 I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I'm on Team Sokeefe! Welp thats pretty much it.. 😅
