Hello everyone how were your first days of school? I now enjoy teasing the sixth graders (yikes was I really that tiny then?)

I'm a tenth grader, the first grade of high school for my district. And my first days have been pretty fun!
(I have a creative writing class)

My first days have been going well, not as scarily overwhelming and busy as everyone said junior year would be(yet😬). And what do you mean Sushie that 10th grade is the first year of high school for your district?? Is 9th grade not freshman year?

Yes and no. It's hard to explain mostly because a lot of districts don't do it this way:
Elementary, K-6
Junior High, 7-9
High School, 10-12
Grades Count, 9-12

So technically, 9th graders are High Schooler's, but they just don't go to the High School itself.
So this is my first year at high school and I'm a Sophomore.

Yeah, it's not very common for that to happen, and our district's changing it to:

Elementary, K-5
Middle School, 6-7
Junior High, 8-9
High School, 10-12

Next year anyway, so... pretty odd.

I don't know, it just was that way. I thought that was the only way until Junior High when one of my teachers said they were changing it.

9th is Freshman for us. I'm a sophmore. School has been pretty ok. Marching Band is my favorite class though. It's so fun! I'd love to take an art class, but the art classes our school has is mostly just history.

Personally, I think that Sophie should just be alone for now, because she’s, well, fifteen, and too young to be choosing a soulmate. But if she had to choose, later on, I feel like Keefe would be better.
