Cause in Russian Неповезло means "bad luck", but in Ukrainian, Неповезло means "inadequate", according to Google Translate.

Which is really weird because there's the same word in two different languages with two different meanings.

Russian. That was Russian. It most accurately translates as "how unfortunate to you".
Russian and Ukrainian are both Slavic languages, and they're fairly similar. I don't know Ukrainian, but I can read and understand it (with lots off effort) because they're so similar. I have no idea how to pronounce or write any of it, though.
