Personality: He's a very sweet, kind child, and he's seen always following Maria around. If Maria wasn't so kind to him, people would say that he was falsely obsessed with her, his sister, but since he's the only family she has, and she's the only family he has, they both love each other. He has one stuffed teddy bear that he was given when he was born that he loves, and it is the only thing he has left from his parents. He likes to laugh, but the only one who's ever been able to make him do so is Maria.
History: He was watching a cartoon on TV with his sister at home, when the military came and took them away. Their parents were at work, and he was scared and missed them. He started crying, even though he was trying not to, and Maria comforted him. They've been here ever since.

Personality: He's very sneaky, kinda shady, but protective of his sister. He doesn't smile often, and most people stay away from him because they think he's trouble, but he just doesn't laugh as often as other people.
History: Mia and him were at their orphanage when the military came and took them away. Luckily, they managed to stay together, and they've been here ever since. Nobody knows who their parents were because they were found on the street when he was 7 and Mia was 1.

Personality: Dark, sad, thoughtful. He composes poetry to himself in his mind, and misses something he's never had. He stopped crying long ago, he's learn to bear the pain in stony silence. When he sees happy people, or families, he punches things, often resulting in himself being hurt.
History: He was homeless, and living on the streets alone when the military found him. They took him here, to Rainbow Creek, and he's been here ever since. He hates it, and has no friends. He's dreadfully lonely, as well.
Talents: Anything academic. Besides that, though, he's average. He is very antisocial, and has no friends.

Personality: This is hard to explain, since she doesn't have normal human emotions. I believe that if that part of her brain had fully developed, she'd be a quiet, but intelligent person, with good grades and a normal life. But, because her brain had not fully developed, she was bullied daily as a child, and she could never understand why. Because she wouldn't get sad or scared or angry, the bullying continued till she moved here, to Rainbow Creek, where she continued her life quietly. The bullying probably would have began again, but she kept to herself and continues to do so, so no one notices her. Even though she doesn't feel fear, anger, or sadness, she's not an idiot, and she realizes that if she's around people too often, she'll get hurt.
History: You can mostly gather her history from the rest of this, but when she was born, the part of her brain that allowed her to have emotions wasn't fully developed. Because of this, she could not feel real love, anger, fear, or sadness. As she grew up, she was bullied daily for this, but she didn't understand why. Because she wouldn't cry or fight back, this continued till she moved to Rainbow Creek. Her father never knew of the bullying, because she never said anything. Her father (his name was Jared) died of water poisoning the day before she was taken to Rainbow Creek.
Talents: Playing the violin, swimming, running, hiking, rock climbing,
Family: None. Her father was single, and died a day before she was taken to Rainbow Creek. She loved him as much as she could physically, and he cared for her, although he didn't understand her. The only thing she has left from him is a pet cat named Jane.
Other: When she was born, the part of her brain that allowed her to have emotions wasn't properly developed, which prevented her from feeling many normal human emotions such as fear, anger, love, and sadness. She can feel happiness, but because she does not ever feel unhappy, she doesn't value it, and it isn't like when a normal person is happy. There are times that she almost feels sad because she can't feel like other people, but these moments are rare and pass quickly. The doctors tell her that there's the smallest possibility that as she lives, her emotions will continue to develop till she can feel like what's called 'normal' people.

Personality: She seems shy, but in truth, she's quite loud, and boisterous. She love climbing, running, digging, scavenging, and adventuring. She's a goody-two-shoes, and a teachers pet, but only because they don't hear her whisper curses under her breath and write stories ending with the gruesome deaths of many of her fellow classmates. Oh, and she doubts that she would be such a favorite if they found her collection of axes, switch blades, and rifles. (Also, the stuff about being a goody-two-shoes at school is only here, at Rainbow Creek. At home, she was home schooled by her parents.)
History: Kaida lived on a farm before she was taken away because of the water contamination. Because they had an old well, and property far away from other civilization, it was a long time before they learned of the contamination. Kaida was one of the last children taking to Rainbow Creek, only because the military had searched a bit farther just in case there were any people living in the middle of nowhere where her and her family lived. At the young age of eight, she begged her dad to shoot her how to shoot a gun. By ten, she was a great shot, and had started hunting with her father, skinning the deer, and cooking them. By twelve, when she was strong enough to cut wood properly, she started chopping wood in the forest with her fathers axes. When she was taken to Rainbow Creek, she was entirely alone, but luckily she was found while adventuring, so she had a backpack full of supplies that would last for a while, most of them being her favorite things.
Talents: Hunting, building fires, scavenging, climbing, most of school (but not socializing), running quickly.
Family: Father named Robert: dead. Mother named Laura: dead. Dog named Li'l Rifle: dead. So basically...everyone's dead. And since Kaida lived in the middle of nowhere, she had no friends except family.
Other: Kaida is almost fearless. Not in the way that she doesn't have fears, but that she's very brave and likes facing her problems head on immediately instead of waiting to deal with them later. She'd rather get chicken pox at three years old than at ninety, and so, of course, she did so. In between the ages of two and six, she got 5+ diseases, which she recovered from a few months after.

Personality: She's hardworking, loud, and speaks her mind. She loves being sarcastic, and she has a very dry sense of humor, but she'll laugh at anything. No one has ever seen her cry, but she cried at night while everyone was asleep for months after they were all moved.
History: The same as most of everyone else. She was at home with her brother when the military came and took them away. Her parents were at work, and she was terrified, but because of her brother she kept on a brave face. She's been here with her brother ever since. They have a very tight bond, and can basically communicate without speaking.
Talents: Gymnastics, drawing, reading, dancing,
Family: An eight year old brother named Teddy. The rest of her family is dead.
