I really have no idea what to expect. I'm not exactly sure where on the timeline of the other books this will fall (I know that some of it will overlap with CoFA). Maybe they'll get married towards the end of the series? I do think that Magnus could potentially lose his immortality.

1. They already did. They adopt one in Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy, and another later on.
2. Maybe? I feel like leaving their relationship as is, with Magnus being immortal, and Alec not, is a bit strange. I feel like, if anything, Magnus would become mortal, rather than Alec becoming immortal.
3. If so, I will cry. Anyways, I feel like it wouldn't make sense to kill one of them off. And the fandom would be enraged.
4. Maybe? It could happen, but I don't think it's likely.
5. Probably... I hope not. It's extremely uncomfortable when it's more than implied.
6. I doubt it. As of where TDA is now, they are engaged. And again, the fandom would not be happy, to say the least.

Uk if you read the other books u will realize all those questions have already been answered like (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD READ AT YOUR OWN RISK) magnus and alec do adopt two kids named max 2 years after the dark war in the tales of shadowhunter academy and raphael in the ghosts of shadowmarket, whose hard copy is coming out in june. Alec stays human and magnus stays immortal, nothing changes in their immortality. Niether of them die and cassendra has conformed that alec gets a happy ending because she based alec on a child hood friend who died young and she wanted to give him a happy ending. alec stays a shadowhunter. And yes they do the dirty as well as they dont have a love triangle cuz alec stays with the guy he first fell in love with. They are (SPOILERR) married in Queen of air and darkness so yeahh.
