this is where doctor strange sometimes spends a lot of his time. with portals around, he jumps around every so often. if not here, he would be at home or in new york.

Akiru looked down seeing the mountainous region. His eyes scanning for any sense of magic being used. He was surprised to feel this much magic in the area. “So is Dr Strange here?” He asked Marie. “I can sense magic all over this region. Would that be from him?”

Marie nodded as she looked for a spot to land. When she located the perfect spot she landed and let Akiru climb off before shifting back. "Yeah he's here. Although I think the magic is always here. I wouldn't know. I can't sense those things without the right power set. The little girl and her brother are mutants although the brother isn't as obvious as she is. She has her ice dragon but she can also compel people to do things when they look in her eyes." Marie checked her gloves and tried to orient herself to figure out which direction to head to find Doctor Strange.

He nodded as he started to look around. “I’m honestly not sure why, but I can see magic usually as aura’s as well as things from the full electromagnetic spectrum if I try to. Never was sure why though.” He explained. He began to walk through the streets until he came to a place where the Magic seemed to be flowing to and from the most.

Marie followed his lead. "Is that a natural power you have or does that come from your pendant too?" She'd love to see how that worked if it was a borrowable power. Of course she'd get his permission first. She never consciously borrowed powers without permission. Unless it was an emergency of course.

“It’s natural. I’m not totally sure why I have it though. I don’t think I’m a mutant, at least from what I can tell. These powers showed up when I was about 4 or at least that’s when I noticed them. Mutant powers typically show up usually during your teenage years right?” He asked looking at her. There was no hint of malice or dislike of mutants in his tone, but he also seemed to have done some studying of them himself.

"It depends on the mutant. The little girl you saw in LA is 10. Gwen has had her powers and known how to control them since she was 4 or 5. My job has been to keep track of them and try to get them to come to the academy. But the brother, Lenneth, won't hear of it and as Gwen's legal guardian he makes her decisions. So it's possible that you're an early bloomer like Gwen." Marie hoped her explanation was enough to clear up all of his confusion. But there was a reason she wasn't a teacher at the academy, she usually didn't explain things as well as she thought she did.

He shrugged, “maybe. Although I’ve had the feeling that they were always active, I just didn’t realize it and didn’t attempt to trigger it until I was 5.” He explained. “it’s a tad hard to explain, but I’m not convinced that I’m a mutant from the research I did.” He then knocked on the door. “I hope Dr. Strange is here...”

dr. stephen strange was deep in his own ancient studies. his time with the magic wielders was developing his skills. tuning the magic within him was the best use of his time. since stephen strange arrived at nepal, he was but a changed person. peering around his small room he raised a brow at hearing a faint knock at the door. glancing over his shoulder, he saw mostly shadows possessed the room. trickles of light managed to spread across the room but the solitary male was an expert at keeping the light out of his dwellings. an amused smile spread across his face as he approached the door. opening it a fraction, he peeked out.

Akiru looked at him, a bit curious if this was him. “Are you Doctor Strange?” He asked. He was half worried of what he could learn or worse, that this guy wouldn’t know anything. His green eyes glanced towards Marie to get some encouragement to continue forward. While he tended to try to not involve others in his problems, he still felt insecure about himself and being able to do something to help himself.

Marie smiled encouragingly and motioned for him to continue before addressing the man in front of them. "Hello Doctor. It's nice to see you again." The last time they had run into each other was when Lenneth and Gwen had been hiding out here in Nepal.

He sighed and nodded. “If you could I need some help. I want to learn more of my power.” He replied as he pulled the pendant out from his shirt and held it up. The golden colored crystal shimmered in the light as well as the crystal like arms creating the symbol of the sun. It was obviously the genuine article. The real Solaris Crystal, one of the last artifacts of the ancient Solarian race...

((He doesn't know either of them personally. Just knows that Marie had been looking for mutant siblings and she wasn't paying attention to where she was going and literally ran into him lol))

"I couldn't think of anyone else who would know enough about relics like that. Can you help him?" Marie placed a gloved hand on Akiru's shoulder for comfort and strength. She hoped that she hadn't borrowed Gwen's powers for nothing.

Doctor strange shut the door and walked away. He wasn't interested in being bothered. He returned to his studies, carefully removing a ink pad from his table. There ancient books around, and his calculated eyes read them within minutes. He strode aorund the room a few times, trying to adjust to the sudden intrusion. However, the dark haired sorcer was able to complete his assignments.

Apollon started to get annoyed and knocked on the door again. “Hey we came all this way to get your help, the most you could do is at least say something.” He replied, a tad annoyed at this guy’s reaction. “I was told you would be able to help dealing with magic-based issues, well supposedly this is one Ancient magical artifact that I’d like to know something about.”

Marie shifted to the dragon, curled her tail around Akiru and lifted him onto her back to get him out of the way. Once he was safely out of the way she used her ice breath to freeze the door and smacked it with her powerful tail to smash it. She motioned with a wing for Akiru to walk in. She was tired of Steven Strange's antics. He was rude and saw himself as being above everyone. She had seen it the first time they met and had hoped it would be better this time but obviously not.

Apollon sighed and walked in the destroyed door. He turned to Marie, “is he always like that?” He asked fairly annoyed with how the Sorcerer Supreme was acting. He expected a more positive reaction.... or at least a no...

Steven strange peered up from his desk, ignoring the damage the girl inflicted onto his house. He said nothing, his stubborn behavior keeping him from offering them assistance. His eyes glanced at them before he returned to read. "I must ask you leave now. Damaging property is prhobitied by outsiders. Unless you want nepal to see you as a threat, I suggest you leave now." His voice spoke, down to the book where his eyes returned, skimming the ancient texts.

He looked over at the sorcerer. “I’m here to get some information and don’t intend to leave until I know either that you know something about this thing or that you don’t.” Apollon replied, “I was told this is some ancient mystical artifact and that you know about mystical artifacts.”

Marie shifted back, checked her gloves and walked inside. "Unfortunately, he is always like this. Too self involved to give a crap about anything that doesn't directly affect him." She was deliberately speaking loud enough to be heard by the Sorcerer Supreme. "That cape of his is more hospitable than he'll ever be. But he makes up for it with his knowledge when he decides to share. This is why I prefer to stay with the X-Men. My fellow mutants would never be like this. Makes me wonder how the Avengers have ever convinced him to help them."

Doctor strange scoffed. "Well now that I have been reviwed, I please ask you leave." He raised his hand making circular motions towards the ground with this finger. A portal appeared as a spinning geometric circle. It flashed the scenes of new york below it. The portal appeared below the two people's feet. "Bye." Doctor strange said before the pair slipped throught the portal and it closed, leaving him alone and back at peace.

Gwendolyn and Wade appeared in the Sorcerer's house right behind him. "Kicking people out again? And children no less! Someone's in a bad mood," Gwen laughed as Wade spoke. They, of course, knew everything that had happened. Deadpool just wanted to cause some trouble. Gwen on the other hand was a little more level headed and served as his conscience. Kinda like Jiminy Cricket.

"I am nothing like a bug! I'm adorable!" Gwen replied to a voice that nobody but her and Wade could hear and glared at the ceiling.
