Luke (lukemaynard) | 8 comments Dear Librarians,

Is there anyone who can help me clear up a punctuation error that's splitting my books into two pools? I foolishly didn't leave a space between my middle initials when I built this profile, and as a result my publications are continually getting mis-categorized, and there's a second "dummy author" with the correct spacing, "Luke R. J. Maynard," who's getting the credit and keeping my publications from showing up.

I've tried applying for librarian status myself to fix this problem, but no luck so far. Is there any way someone can fix the punctuation in my name, add the space, and combine the other account into mine?

Thanks so much for your help,
Luke R. J. Maynard (with extra space)

Philip (burnnerman) | 5912 comments Book moved to your profile. GR Policy is for no space between initials, so that cannot be changed.

You 3 options would be:
1) Change location books are being imported from to have no space.
2) Create the book on GR under your profile with the ASIN/ISBN before it gets imported.
3) After books are imported place a request for it to be moved.

Luke (lukemaynard) | 8 comments That's terrific, thanks very much!

if the policy is no-space, I'm happy to keep no space. That's actually easier for me since the real account I use has no space. I just hope to not keep bothering people if books get mis-sorted in the future.

Thanks again for your help!
