Cannot be book 3 according to GR Series numbering policy. It could be 2.5.GR Policy is that novellas in a series that contains full length novels do not get whole numbers.
The book is not a novella. I had already discussed this with a previous Librarian who had confirmed the book was long enough not to be deemed a novella. The other book, Losing Amalia was definitely a novella and thus numbered 1.5. But Raising Amalia is a full novel numbered 3 on Amazon. Having it numbered 2.5 here will be very misleading to readers.
Also, from the description - it's a prequel.If the prequel is a novella or short it gets #0.5
Full-length prequels get #0
Oh yeah, I need to update the description text. Look, I cannot dictate how you guys want to handle Goodreads. But the proper order for my books is Raising Amalia #3. That will not change on Amazon and on all other platforms I will be publishing the book to once it goes wide.
The book was called prequel because the events there occur before the events of book one but the main reason I'm changing the order is because it makes more sense for the readers to read it in the order they were written, i.e. with Raising Amalia being book 3.
I hope you will agree to put it in the order that allows this series to be best enjoyed by the readers and that will be consistent with all other platforms.

Changed the numbering according to author's desire. Left a note in the series description that book 3 occurs chronologically before book 1.If there's enough reader interest, we can always do a chronological series page as well, a la Vorkosigan saga:
