Wilmar Luna (wilmarluna) | 23 comments Hi gang,

I am planning on adding a book titled: The Silver Ninja: A Bitter Winter.

For sorting purposes is it supposed to be:

Bitter Winter, A?

Or

A Bitter Winter

Is the -a- treated the same way -the- is?

So if The Silver Ninja was the title, it's sorted as Silver Ninja, The?

A librarian added the other books for me, so I did not personally add The Silver Ninja or The Silver Ninja: Indoctrination.

Thank you!

Wilmar

Sandra | 31477 comments Looks like The Silver Ninja is the series and A Bitter Winter is the title?

If so it would be A Bitter Winter (The Silver Ninja, #?) and the sort title would be: bitter winter (the silver ninja, #?), a

The sort title is always in lower case and the prepositions are at the end.

Thank you for the information. :)

The system will automatically do this sort if you just leave the field blank when adding.
