I am reading Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo I am so impressed with this book. It is a beautiful smarting of poetry pearls that weave an wonderful story.
I just finished The Last Train to Key West and was so disappointed. I’ve loved Ms. Cleeton’s prior works.

Circe!! That’s an amazing book! I loved it so much I read it twice. Try Song of Achilles by the same author, equally as good.
The Keeper of Happy Endings. Hope it's good. It's a Kindle Amazon Prime freebie book that is one of the 6 they give every month.
I'm late to the party, but I just started reading The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Loving it so far.
The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah physical bookThe Crossing Place by Elly Griffiths on Kindle
The Spirit Engineer by AJ West for Book Sirens
I've just finished the third book by Chris Hammer involving Martin Scarsden reporter. Set in Australia. Great read, if you love crime novels. In order: Scrublands, Silver, Trust.
Can't wait for his new book in October set in the Opal fields, Treasure and Dirt - has one of the characters from the other books.
Highly recommend.

I just finished reading A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, by Sonia Purnell. WWII history with all the intrigue of a novel. OLIVE KITTERIDGE, fiction, employs the same approach, you see the main character mostly through their actions and the impact on others. Some say the character of James Bond was inspired by Virginia Hall, a US citizen working as a spy in the Free France region, outrageously clever, intuitive, undaunted, courageous, a 30-ish gal raised in east coast high society, with endurance and charisma to spare.
I finished some great books in September. Here's a list of the 5 star books: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, A More Beautiful and Terrible History: The Uses and Misuses of Civil Rights History, Firekeeper's Daughter, Station Eleven, Nothing to See Here, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Highly recommend!
I just finished, Harlem Shuffle, by Colson Whitehead. Very different from his other books, but really liked it. On Audio am Listening to Head Trash and find it helpful with Suggestions. Next, Book think Valentine. Then Velvet is the Night, May switch that around.
I’m actually reading my own book, my first real copy! It’s a totally different experience reading your words, knowing that’s it’s out in the world. Eeek!
Just finished The Last Thing He Told Me : Laura Dave 👍
and The Ladies' Midnight Swimming Club: Faith Hogan 👍
just began
🎧 The Lost Girls of Paris: Pam Jenoff
📚 The Elephant Whisperer: Lawrence Anthony
