What are you reading?

That sounds really interesting. I’ve read a bunch from different countries, but haven’t actively been trying to. You’ll probably learn a lot reading from all those countries."
It's certainly been an interesting experience, and thinking on it I have also expanded my knowledge about some world events. Our lives can have a very narrow focus if we only read authors from our home country.

I am reading The Jetsetters. I am interested in Charlotte's character.
She is older an is looking back on her choices in life.

I adored Deacon King Kong. Hope you love this one as much.

Inspired by the courage of Eleanor Roosevelt, the character (Noelle) decides to confront one fear a day for an entire year. It really is inspiring, especially for people living with anxiety! Since it is a memoir, I think readers can really relate to Noelle.

I'm always surprised by books that are for my book club especially ones like this one as it would never be on my radar. Who knows, I might just like it as I did with Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President by Candice Millard
which was amazing!!!

absolutely!!

I really liked the Midnight Library. It is relatable for sure and so good. A darker subject, but one that is pertinent.

I just finished that a few days ago, I wasn't too impressed. Are you liking it?
