Jasmine, so far it’s really kept my interest. I seem to go through audible books faster than actually reading them
I just finished the The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. I highly recommend it. Currently I am reading Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson.
I just finished The Lions of Fifth Avenue. I thought it was a terrific book. Both book about family, passion, love of books, and a mystery.

The Push by Ashley Audrain, It's brilliant! So well written and unputdownablehttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
@Judy, no worries. take your time. I want you to enjoy the experience of reading this. it's not exactly a happy story, but it is well worth the read
Just started Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas, so far so good.
Hello every one,The book I am currently reading is The Couple Next Door. Reading has helped me decompress with the current situation I have dealt with, my dad is a stroke victim and I started to have to help with dressing paying his bills. It’s a very stressful situation, please give me some book recommendations.
Love y’all
Katie

Katie, so sorry to hear about your dad. That's a tough situation and I hope with therapy, he will recover well. Here's two books that might offer a few minutes of disconnect from your caregiver role for a time: The Guest List by Lucy Foley and The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi. The two that Claudia suggested are also very good!
I’m reading Jackpot by Nic Stone. It has me hooked so far!! I plan on reading her other books Dear Martin and Dear Justyce next.
"A WALK AROUND THE BLOCK: Stoplight Secrets, Mischievous Squirrels, Manhole Mysteries & Other Stuff Yo See Every Day (and know nothing about)." The book explores the history and mystery of the world right outside your front door ... where does your recycling go? How does a cell phone work? How many steps should I take a day? How can I make a difference in the small world we call "our neighborhood?" All while taking a pleasant stroll.

Just Finished Anxious People by Fredrik Backman and now I'm onto The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King
I've been working on Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: by Lori Gottlieb
I am having such mixed feelings about this book and I don't know why.... maybe I need to talk to someone??? 😉

Thank you for the book recommendations, I am adding to my to read list. With my dads illness, my son having virtual schooling, reading is my only escape.
Claudia wrote: "Katie , Check out The Midnight Library and Anxious People ! I highly recommend those"Thank you Claudia for these recommendations. I can not wait to read these titles.

Very sorry about your dad! My dad had a stroke years ago as well. Yes, reading and writing are great ways to decompress.
I am reading Eden. I just can't put it down, it is well written the cover doesn't do it justice. It is a great book not an erotica is is a great sci fi story it has a bit of romance in it but just enough, I am at 71% now. I definitively recomend it to anyone who is interested in a good si fi romance, the sci fi, suspanse and psychological mixture is more underlined than the romance. Due to an asteroid collision a Earth spaceship is having some technical problems while on a mission to investigate a planet. The 3 crew members decide to investigate the planet surface discovering the wreckage of another alien spacecraft only to discover that not all of the aliens died. In the haste of retreating one of them is left behind.
