Did you read 11/22/63? That's been highly recommended to me but haven't gotten to it yet.

I read it a long time ago. I liked it but not as much as King's other books. But please don't let my opinion deter you. It could be your favorite! :)

I know what you mean, I get the similar voice feeling too! And also don't mind as a huge fan of the Harry Potter books too 😊
I have tried so many times to read that series by Robert Galbraith and I was never able to get into it so gave up!
I'm catching up to the group by reading the books from the previous year. I am currently reading Next Year in Havana. I just finished The Alice Network and now I'm hooked on the group's book choices.
I am currently reading "The looking glass wars" and this month's book pic :) I just finished the series that inspired "the Witcher" videogames, I highly recommend it since it's one of the best written series I've read in a while!
I've read the first three of the series of Robert Galbraith, I didn't know the fourth had already been released! D:

I just found the audio by Robert Galbraith books and have just started the first book in the series. Love British accent
I really hope you enjoy them as much as I do - the BBC have also done a TV adaption but for me those audio books are just a rare treat - I am so delighted to have helped you enjoy them too - just too good to miss :-) Helene wrote: "I just found the audio by Robert Galbraith books and have just started the first book in the series. I am just starting on the reading list for this club & the first book I chose is Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, since it was one of the only ones available at my library.

I am currently reading Nine Perfect Stranger by Liane Moriarty, so far funny characters!
I just got don’t with The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman but now the hard choice of choosing the next book to read!
Currently reading Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck-well, re-reading, haven’t read it in about 30 years
Helene wrote: "I just checked out Emma Mills book but it’s for young adults not for me!"Understand that. I only got turned on to it because it's the book selection for a book club I'm participating in.
Just finished one of the books from last year’s list, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, in audiobook format. Really enjoyed this one and the development of the characters, their connections, and the changes to their community. Several strong women characters.

Little Fires Everywhere was such a good book. It had depth, mystery and strong characters I could identify with. Really good read!
I just discovered two apps that work with my library in Aiken, SC.Cloud Library: I can check out 5/mo. (keep for 2 weeks) and 3/mo for holds.
Hoopla: Check out 4/mo. and can keep for 3 weeks.
These are FREE audios and books. Only problem is most take alot of patience just like waiting for the popular books at the library. :)
But sometimes you get lucky and find some that are available. I read so much that I have to become more patient! HA!

Macy wrote: "For lovers of Eleanor Oliphant, I just finished The Rosie Project. It was excellent!"I loved both these books! The Rosie Effect is also good.
Earlier today I just finished reading Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty and now I am trying to decide on what to read next - I think it will be The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
I’m reading The Kiss Quotient. It’s so good. Loving the characters. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Yes, The Rosie Projet was good but couldn’t read the follow up book can’t remember the name but the characters had a baby and it wasn’t that good so I gave up preferred the first one!
I just started The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain! It’s my first time reading this author but what I’ve read is good!
Just started Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows after enjoying Eleanor Oliphant is Fine. And! I just picked up the only woman in the room by Marie Benedict from the library. Happy reading everyone!
Recently i've finished the Prince by Necollo Machiavelli today and i haven't decided yet what's is the next book
I’m reading Becoming by Michelle Obama which I’m enjoying and finishing Fanette, Volume 3 of a series of seven French books by Suzanne Audry. I also started Mary Queen of Scots by John Guy (over 1000 pages) while anxious to watch the movie of the same name. I’m four books in already in the 2019 challenge. Yeah yeah. Trying to increase by five books from the previous year. Happy reading everyone.
