Lately, I've been reading a lot of magical realism. I just finished The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey and The Child Finder by Rene Denfeld. Both novels are fabulous and haunting and filled with different manifestations of winter and grief and loss and triumph. They're amazing.

I'm also reading an anthology of Pablo Neruda's poems. He inspires me to write poetry.

My favorites in order: Pet Sematary, Salem's Lot and The Stand. He is an amazing story teller. So are his sons too, Joe Hill and Owen King. You may enjoy reading their books too :)
