Denise (denisemeagles) | 71 comments I just finished the Guest List on Audio and I loved it.

I read Beach Read and Writers and Lovers together and had a serious Book Hangover this weekend.

I started Next Year In Havana on Audio and it grabbed me right away. I am looking forward to finishing this one tomorrow.

Reksana (reksanamunshi1710) | 2 comments I'm reading The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware.

message 1553: by Gin (new)

Gin I'm reading Normal People by Sally Rooney. Half way through the book and not sure how I feel about it. Just waiting for something to happen. And the lack of punctuation is driving me a little nuts at the moment. One minute I think I've got the flow of the story happening, then the next I have to reread sections a number of times to understand what's going on...hope I'm not the only one that feels this?

I liked that one too! I called it a modern day Nancy Drew!

Diana Paul | 10 comments I'm reading News of the World by Paulette Jiles, a National Book Award Finalist. Very well-researched story of a seventy-year-old man and a ten-year-old Kiowa girl traveling through Texas in 1870, just after the Civil War has ended. Movie starring Tom Hanks will be released on Christmas Day this year.

skketch (goodreadscomnovel_thoughts) A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout. The memoir of a Canadian woman and journalist, who along with several men, were kidnapped by Somalian militants and held for ransom for 460 days.
