I started watching the TV series on National Geographic and it is really excellent. Got me more interested in learning about that time period, colonization of New France, fille de roi, etc. This book is not my usual jam - I loooove mystery/thriller but am trying to branch out - but I'm really enjoying it so far : )

Denise wrote: "I just finished Becoming Mrs. Lewis. It is a fantastic book. I highly recommend it if you are a C.S. Lewis Fan."Thanks. I’ve wanted to read this but kept pushing it off because of netgalley commitments. You’ve renewed my commitment to make time for this.
Hi. I just finished reading "By Invitation Only," by Dorothea Benton Frank. It's a great early summer read. Took me a bit to get into it, but the characters grew on me. Time to get started on a new book! Yay! :)
