What are you reading?
I'm reading The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons - really good just 10 chapters left so the plot thickens......
@Laura-Jayne Wesley I am loving it. About a 27% in and it's amazing. I feel like I needed this book at the moment.
I agree! I am on page 77 and It's already one of my favourite books! I think she has done it so cleverly and it's really made me appreciate what I have in life!
"All those women having jobs: hard to imagine, now, but thousands of them had jobs, millions. It was considered the normal thing. Now it's like remembering the paper money, when they still had that. [...] I guess that's how they were able to do it, in the way they did, all at once, without anyone knowing beforehand. If there had still been portable money, it would have been more difficult. " - The Handmaid's Tale
Everything can be taken away.
Amazing book that puts a lot into perspective.

I just started listening to the audiobook of The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley. I'm only a little ways in, but thoroughly enjoying it so far! Also, reading Station Eleven--probably not the best time to start that one, but it's been on my TBR for a while now.
Denise wrote: "The Splendid and the Vile."I just finished that one today. Erik Larson is speaking tonight 7pm on

There is a sequel to Beartown called Us Against You. Extends the Beartown story and characters. Also a great read.
Don Quixote, Simon the Fiddler, A Drinking Life and The Overstory. . . . .all good about overcoming life's challenges. . . .

Yeah, I'm almost done with Less but I must say ..." It's a pity, because the character is very sweet. I had some problems with the writing style....

What If It's Us by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli"
Ooooh, how did you like Find Me? I've read mixed things about it and I haven't even read CMBYN, just watched the movie, but I'm thinking about picking up one of Aciman's other books just for a taste.
