Erik Larson is being interviewed about this book by Dave Eggers at 7pm Eastern time on 05/02. This Author Talk is sponsored by Book Passage and you can join by going to www.bookpassage.extendedsession.com
I have participated in all of the Author Talks so far and they are fantastic.
I am reading The Splendid and The Vile in time for this talk.
I just finished listening to Dominicana on Audio. I highly recommend the Audiobook for this book as the narration really brings the story to life.
I’m currently reading The Last Mrs Parrish. I’m looking for new friends in GoodReads. Can you please add me

I am reading short stories by Sadat Hasan Manto , thought I would give some great south East Asian authors a go
I finished "Notre-Dame de Paris" by Victor Hugo and I'm going to read "Fall of Giants" by Ken Follett
I am currently reading House of Spies by Daniel Silva. This is the 17th book in the series which features Gabriel Allon, part time art restorer and part time Israeli spy.
I’m just starting “The Elegance of the Hedgehog” by Muriel Barbery. In just finished “The Woman Inside” by E.G. Scott.
I'm reading on my Kindle Secrets and Stilettos (Murder in Style Book1) by Gina Lamanna. First time reading something from this author.
I’m finishing up Into the Free by Julie Cantrell. So glad to find this group! I hope you’ll add my own book, A Long Time Comin’, to your TBR pile. :)
I just finished up Cherry, after having set it down for several months. The character's troubled stint in Iraq is detailed throughout the middle section of the book, and it's quite bleak and a bit repetitive, so I had to take a break. The final third of the book is honestly quite riveting and when I sat down to read last night I had 150 pages left and didn't move from my seat until I'd gobbled them all up. I'm also in the middle of The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, which is a fantastic audiobook, and Normal People, which is in turns wholly engrossing and borderline boring.
