Just started A Woman Is No Man and am still working on Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell. Talking to Strangers is not at all what I was expecting it to be!

I just finished Ghosts of Eden Park by Karen Abbott: murder, bootlegging and the jazz era of justice! Started The Confession Club by Elizabeth Berg: a whole lot lighter and happy!
In Five Years by Rebecca Serle

Animal Farm is a good one too....."
I agree. Also on my to-read list. Now's a great time to catch up on those classics!
Just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. Highly recommend

Jamie wrote: "I finished The Oysterville Sewing Circle and now I'm reading The Slow Regard of Silent Things."Jamie, what did you think of the Oysterville Sewing Circle?
I just finished A Long Petal Of The Sea by Isabel Allende. It is based on a true story and is an excellent read.
Pallavi wrote: "I've just finished Part 1 of 'Where The Crawdads Sing' and I'm enjoying it so far."Loved it!
I just started "The Giver of Stars" by Jo Jo Moyers. I did see several say it was a same story as other books, but am interested in reading this one, as we are in the middle of Covid 19 and my mother lived thru the depression. Will let you know what I think. If anyone has read this, let me know your thoughts?
