Currently reading The Secret History of the Pink Carnation series, Napoleonic France and female spies...my two favorites!
Finished *In An Instant* which I liked. Review to come and started *This is Not How it Ends* so far I like the writing style.
I just finished If I Had your Face, which will be published next month. Great debut novel.
Here’s my review:

The Senator Saga by S.P. Fletcher. It's a little dark and twisty but I love it. The Senator (The Senator Saga, #1).
Reading "Stein on Writing" by Sol Stein. Wow, if you are a writer and looking for a book on writing, this one is one of the best I've read. Stein is author of nine novels and nonfiction, screenplays and TV dramas.
Just finished reading Where the Forest Meets the Stars. Could hardly put the book down. Just started Daisy Jones and the Six.
I am currently reading Sense and Sensibility ! It's the first Jane Austen for me, and I am really enjoying it !
I have just finished Cosi' in terra by Davide Enia. He shows that you do not have to be Camilleri to be a good Sicilian writer. I enjoyed it very much. Hope it could be soon translated, even though I do not know how the poor translator could match the unmatchable Sicilian dialect beauty.
listening to: The Reckoning by John Grisham Goodreads giveaway: Me for You by Lolly Winston
Ghosts of Eden Park by Karen Abbott
just finished: In An Instant and This is not How it Ends
I've read other books by Christina Baker Klein and can highly recommend A Piece of the World, about Christina, the subject of Wyeth's famous painting Christina's World. Also, Georgia, by Dawn Tripp - a historical fiction imagining of of Georgia O'Keefe and her relationship with Alfred Stieglitz. I've read both books twice. Art heals and in this period on our planet we need art, whether it be books, poetry, music or taking a walk and experiencing nature. We are still allowed to take walks but I live in a state (Illinois) where we are telecommuting and sheltering in place.
Molly wrote: "Just finished Orphan Train, now i'm having a hard time finding something to keep my attention."If you liked that one, which I also read and found so compelling, you might consider "The Last Train to London" by Meg Waite Clayton. It is about a Dutch woman in WWII who evacuates Jewish children from Austria. I thought it was so good!
Ok I need some help with my next Agatha Christie read.. I just finished Nemesis and in the past I have read And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express, and Five Little Pigs. I am trying to read all of her books this year. What should I read next?
Me wrote: "Ok I need some help with my next Agatha Christie read.. I just finished Nemesis and in the past I have read And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express, and Five Little Pigs. I am trying..."How about Murder at the Vicarage? It's the first appearance of Miss Marple.
I live in a state that has a shelter in place/stay inside order. I also work in health care, fortunately not on the front lines, but in Finance and Compliance. I'm reading Annie Dillard's nature writing, Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, and The Natural Garden by Ken Druse. I also have some new cookbooks so I can look for new recipes that will distract me, make me feel productive, and nourish me. I really need nature right now but it's March in the Chicago area with very little sun and lots of wind and rain.
I have been binge reading the “Wayward Children” series by Seanan McGuire. I’m on book four and I love it so much. I am clearly not ready for this series to end, for sure!
Erin wrote: "Right now, Zadie Smith’s “Feel Free” essays, but I’m on the fence."Awesome! I've read it months ago!
Darlene wrote: "I am currently “My Dark Vanessa” and though it is a very dark subject, the writing is superb :)"This book is on my To Buy list.
I just finished The Jetsetters and am currently reading A Good Neighborhood, actually just started it! It’s good so far!
Thank you for the suggestion! I haven’t read Murder at the Vicarage yet. I like Ms. Marple, but Hercule Poirot is my favorite! I will give your suggestion a try.

I am currently reading The Home for Unwanted Girls ! Really captivating so far! I love books set in the 1950s.
Just finished and ARC of Missing in Action by Kate Canterbary. I highly recommend it , it will be released on March 31st.
In addition to The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward, which I just started, I'm also reading The Startless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, and am very captivated by it!
