I just finished Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. I kept avoiding It because I thought I wanted to read something unrelated to WWII, but I am so glad I finally picked it up. Such a great book!

I also just started following somewhat recently! Playing a bit of catch-up and just finishing up Little Fires Everywhere (loving!). I'm hoping to jump into the current book when I finish. ☺️
I just finished Conviction by Denise Mina. I enjoyed it so much that I am about to start another of her books, The Long Drop.
I just finished Dear Edward. I absolutely loved this book. This is going on my all time Best Book List. The characters are wonderful and the topics covered in this book are very timely.
just finished A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler, best book of the year so far! Reese should make this a book club pick in the future, it’s perfect for fans of Little Fires Everywhere and Crawdads Sing.
I’m currently reading The World Without Us by Alan Weisman - it’s about what could happen to the world if humans disappeared.
Tom wrote: "i want to read books, any recommendation"What genres do you like? A chilling mystery that I liked was The Whisper Man by Alex North. Creepy. One theme is the relationships between sons and their fathers.
A nonfiction but super interesting is Hero of the Empire by Candace Millard. It's a fabulous book about the early years of Winston Churchill and what made him the man he became and his role in the Second Boer War. So well researched and fast paced.
And I can't say enough about Where the Crawdads Sing.
Just to name a couple. Enjoy and happy reading.

Right???
I'm reading The Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata; it's very good, especially character development. I'm also reading Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone, another well written book; however, I can only read a bit at a time as the characters are so emotional. I just started the latest Inspector Rutlege: Divided Loyalty by Charles Todd.
I just finished the Lilac Girls and it was outstanding. Five Stars for sure! I was amazed that this book is based on a real story. I am starting the prequel Lost Roses today.
I just started The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern last night. I LOVED The Night Circus so I was quite excited to start this! Love it so far!!!
Lol Well, currently reading:The Scent Keeper by Erica Bauermeister
The Look-Alike by Erica Spindler
Guilty by Karen Robards
Forged in Fire by C. J. Bahr
Winter Takes All by M. L. Erdhal
I am currently reading The Things we Cannot say. It is very good so far, but I have been making slow progress. I have been too busy and too tired to read as much as I would like to this weekend !
Started Daisy Jones & The Six last night. Loving it so far! Taylor Jenkins Reid makes this fictional account of a band sound so, so real. I found myself looking up songs that didn't actually exist.
I just finished The Scent Keeperdebating what to read next:
The Un Honeymooners
Verity
The Bookshop of yesterday’s
A tree Grows in Brooklyn
hmm
so many choices
I just finished Lost Roses. It was fantastic. This is also a five star experience. I highly recommend reading The Lilac Girls and the Lost Roses together as the characters overlap even though the story lines are different. Both of these books are at the top of the list of the best historical fiction.
I am reading Paulo Coelho's " the winner stands alone " it's my first Paolo Coelho book at honestly it's a must read. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing, so good, definitely recommend if you haven't read it yet.Back to working on The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, I'm like 70% done with it but I've been reading it for months and can't seem to get into it.
Finished reading Spare Me The Truth, by CJ Carver, really enjoyable read.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
One Day in December! Next is either Verity, the followers, the overdue life of Amy byler, where the crawdads sing...
