What are you reading?
About halfway thru The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward. It's going alright. I'm not as into it as I was Young Wives, but I'm getting through.
Reading: The Wedding People Funny and Strange story, but really enjoyable and still on The Queens of Crime 40% thru and it has started to pick up as the women are focusing on the murder finally.
Reading:-American Journey: Lineage, Legacy, Pride, and Change by Gregory Ewing
-The Golden Thread: How Fabric Changed History by Kassia St. Clair
-The Pirate King by R.A. Salvatore
-Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Still Reading:
The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict. That probably says a lot. It’s about 5 Famous Writers who decide to solve a real life murder. That should be fast paced and interesting. It is not. Dull and Stodgy and feel like I do not know these actual women at all. Pushing Thru since I was excited and got this early and finally at 70%. For Audio: listening to
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore which is holding my interest. Since the book is taking so long, I think this is the 4th Audio I have slipped in.
My girlfriend's just handed me 'Catfish Honeytrap' by Camren Walker, I'm not used to romantic thrillers but here we go x
Ebook: Giver Her Credit (free book on Kindle first reads). Physical book: We'll Prescribe You a Cat. Audiobooks: alternating between Wrong Place Wrong Time (just started) and The Autobiography of Malcolm X (almost finished)
Picked up You Shouldn't Have Come Here by Jeneva Rose yesterday, started this morning.
I Finished
The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict Finally. This was such a slow read for me. It just didn’t make for an intriguing murder mystery involving 5 Real Life Myster Writers. I am disappointed as Marie Benedict is a favorite author of mine.
Here is my 2.5 Star ⭐️ Review:

The Bones Beneath My Skin - TJ Klune. Loving it so far (but I'm biased; I've loved everything I've read by Klune)!
Audio:
People of Means by Nancy Johnson This is going to be a really good book I think, one that makes me think. Deals with Civil Rights in a family, but at different times. Class, Money, Elitism, and Change are all coming into play.
