message 8817: by Donna (new)

Donna | 6 comments George Smiley is back! For any John le Carre’ fans out there. His son Nick Harkaway, an author in his own right, is taking a stab at keeping his father’s legacy alive at the behest of his brothers. He is doing a pretty good job. I only just finished the first chapter but already feel like John is weaving a tale of intrigue. Nick has successfully picked up his father’s voice, and he’s adding his own flare. I hope he continues on with more of these books in the future.

I completely understand why you say that. I'm really into this book. I haven't seen the TV series either, for the same reasons. :D
