I just finished the audio
, How to Be Eaten, by Maria Adelmann This is a contemporary re-telling of 5 Women in a Trauma Support Group who were from Fairy Tales. It’s quite funny and horrifying at the same time. Excellent for a debut novel.
⭐⭐⭐.5 for
The Empress of Cooke County by Elizabeth Bass Parman https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
The Exorcist, William Peter Blatt :)... Surely, only those unfamiliar with his style would be surprised. I'm amazed by the realistic comparisons that instantly evoke associations and emotions. The writing is concise yet beautiful, and the story is both captivating and quite eerie... I will definitely read his other books. I'm alternating with Joe Dispenza :) . Unusual combination, huh?
Reading The Miserables and The Mushroom at the End of the World: On the Possibility of Life in Capitalist Ruins
Fans of family dramas will enjoy What Happened to the McCrays?
when it’s published in January. My four star review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
