I am reading The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan. About 20% in and I find it lovely, cozy but not too sweet. I dislike books so sweet that I feel a diabetic coma coming on. This one makes you curious.

I never read Gone With the Wind until late in my life and had already seen the movie several times but I was very moved by the book and I loved it!

Just finished "A Tangled Mercy" by Joy Jordan-Lake and now I'm reading "The Final Girls" by Riley Sager.

Just started Imaginary Friend about 70 plus pages in so far. I'm liking this one not to the creepy that was promised but can't wait to get there. Reminds me of Stephen Kings writing. Maybe that's why I like it so good. He can write characters so well that you feel so close to them you'd swear your related to them.

I just finished Cilka's Journey, it was really good, but in some ways sadder than the Tattooist of Auschwitz

Reading Children of Blood and Bones

Finally jumped on the bandwagon and reading Where the Crawdads Sing!! It’s out of my wheelhouse(I usually read thrillers) but I’m trying to expand and finally see what the hype is all about, I’m only 50 pages in but it’s pretty good so far. It’s a little slow but I’m hoping it picks up, heard some negative reviews say that nothing happens until the last chapter but I’m hoping I feel more positive haha, this tends to happen with HUGE mega-hyped books like this where you have to manage your expectations

So far I’ve read 4 books from Reese’s list: Where The Crawdads Sing, From Scratch: A Memoir, Happiness and Little Fires Everywhere and they were all very good reads. From Scratch: A Memoir was my favorite.

Caitlin you will throughly enjoy this book...... it must be almost top of my list of "Best Books I have ever Read"........ I could not put it down. Exceptionally well written.

After this read "This Tender Land"......... Incredible story of the resilience of children growing up without the loving and guided direction of parents or any responsible adult.
