I just finished 2 Anna David books: Animal Attraction (4 stars from me) and How to Get Successful by F*cking Up Your Life: Essays on Addiction and Recovery (5 stars).
I just finished Say, Say, Say by Lila Savage. It was really good, very sensitive. The ending at first left me a little disappointed, as I was hoping for a little more for the characters but as I continue to live with them in my head (as you do), I am satisfied that they are all going to be fine. I feel it could even serve as a "book 1" to a series. But, that might be because I really loved the two main characters so much I am imagining their futures.

I finished reading VerityIts amazing - 5 stars I gave it.
My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Listening to two audiobooks. Before She Knew Him by Peter Swanson. So far it’s good, very different perspective and I’m liking it.
Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane. It’s the summer reads pick from Jimmy Falon. Listening to it with my hubby. Not what I expected the book to be. But still good.
I'm currently working my way through Gravity is the Thing by Jaclyn Moriarty for book club on Sunday. I wish I could say I've been enjoying the experience, but I'm definitely struggling through this one!

I immediately imagine Emily Blunt as Eve Gardiner. I feel like she could pull off "bitter-older-woman" very well!

Yes! I loved The Favorite Sister! I thought it was a lot better than her first book.
I also have The Death of Mrs. Westaway, but I keep picking up other books to read before I finish this one. =P
I buddy read City Of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert with other readers and I'm 9 chapters in and truly love it so far.
I just started reading The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal- the bestselling author of Kitchens of the Great Midwest I will finish this in one sitting- it is that good. I also am halfway through Chelsea Girls by Fiona Davis. Fiona just came to speak to our Book Club this week at the local library and added more meaning to the book. She shared with us why she wrote the book. She also told stories about the people she interviewed for the book. Fiona Davis is definitely a strong candidate for a RW pick. She has all of the right ingredients- historical fiction, well developed characters and always includes a landmark building.
Enjoying the Agatha Christie specials on Amazon so I decided to start reading the books currently reading Death on the Nile.
I've been reading Beneath a Ruthless Sun: A True Story of Violence, Race, and Justice Lost and Found by Gilbert King
I'm a little over half way through The Hypnotist's Love Storyby Liane Moriarty. It was a bit slow in the beginning, but now it's picking up. It's from the library and expires in 2 days, I need to get reading!
I’m just starting the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. I love to read books that will be made into movies or shows.
Just joined the book club. Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing. Way beyond five stars! Would like to find more like it. Any suggestions? Hello everyone!!!Will be reading Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center.
In the middle of The Overdue life of Amy Byler...I'm thinking, (I know I'm late), The Nightingale next?? Or either The Silent Patient with all these rave reviews...
