I am actually reading my own book, the "I Love To Write Day Creative Writing Journal," that was published last month to celebrate the 20th anniversary of I Love To Write Day, a grassroots campaign I launched in 2002 to have people of all ages spend time writing every Nov. 15th.
The Journal incudes 30 Creative Challenges, and 87 tips from writers, authors, artists, musicians, actors and even a few pirates from all around the globe.
It's selling copies in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, India and Germany. So far I have written and sold 34 books to a variety of traditional publishers, and this is only my 2nd self published title.
One reviewer said, "This book is a wonderful resource for writers of most any age and skill level. Intended for individual use, with space among the pages to pen your own musings, the Creative Challenges would also be a great catalyst to use with a writing group, teens and upper elementary students, homeschool co-ops, or even for a fun and different party game."

I just finished , Emma Straub

It took me a while to get into the book and involves time travel, but loved the last 1/4, really close bond between daughter and her dying father. Had message of love, hope, and embracing where you are at.

Next up, , Amita Parikh
This one sounds so good. Lena in 1938 has polio and is resigned to a life in the circus. She ants more out of life. WWII comes and creates much trouble and chaos for some close to her. She is alone and must find her way.
