You were going by page numbers, and the schedule came to eight chapters each.
I'd say there's nothing wrong with that, except that from what I remember of this (altogether worthwhile) book, there are some sections which are obviously 'padding.'

You're right-I did all that counting and apart from one slight variation in weeks 3 and 4 I might as well have gone with 8 chapters a week.

This is good to know-I've always tried to go more on page numbers than chapters but if it's simpler to go by chapter numbers (or Book 1, book 2 etc if they're subdivided that way) I'll consider that for the next book.
Sorry, I meant try to have us read approximately the same number of pages/week, but I'd still list it by chapters.
Trollope readers-when would people like to start the next novel, Phineas Redux? Would you like to
a) Start early July, a couple of weeks after finishing The Eustace Diamonds.
b) take a summer break, and start in early September.
