When Andy approached Meredith in the café and after everything else that happened in the next few moments, did you give any thought that Mallory might have been the target?

It didn't occur to me, but I couldn't imagine how Meredith could have been tied to Andy.

It didn’t occur to me either since he was so focused on Meredith. I thought it might be Mallory until he confronted Meredith.

Given that usually in Karen Rose books something bad always happens to the heroine I knew Meredith was in danger. Doubly because of her line of work and we know that a bad guy from the last case hasn't been apprehended yet.
