I just finished recently the Nevernight series by Jay Kristoff, then i began the throne of glass series (read the first 3 ones) and now i'm reading A DEADLY EDUCATION recommended to me by DARCE ^^ and right after that i'll get back to the tome 4 of throne of glass : Queen Of Shadows

ayy what did you think of Nevernight? and the first 3 TOG books (though i thought they might have a bit too much romance for you).
and i hope you love A Deadly Education, it's so unique :)) keep me updated!

That's what people kept saying a lot about Tog..but the thing is...among all fantasy books i've read or tried to..tog is one of those with the least ormance in it...i mean...romance is good....when it's helping the plot and is not overwhelming.....what i hate about romance in fantasy books is things like ACOTAR & FROM BLOOD and ASH ..even the romance in TWILIGHT..for me is okay....as long as there's action and adventure etc....but when you take a fantasy book which is about magic and monsters and angels and demons etc....and after 100 pages it feels like it's a colleen hoover book with a bit of magic and ONLY like one or two or three scenes about smth else that's not romance..that's when i hate the book ^^

the Nevernight chronicles is one of my favourite fantasy trilogies !! a bit ...not really disappointed but just that...the TOME 2 (godsgrave) was too much slow-paced....when compared with book 1 & 3.. but overall the series is amazing

message 2973: by F (new)

F (sshdhdjsjsj) | 3 comments It's this: Say that your beloved one is dying and they need an organ transplant, but they get into a waitlist and will have to wait for like 20 years. someone offers you a transplant, but they got it from prisoners of another country being harvested. What would you do?

hmm interesting scenario... i honestly have no idea haha. firstly, i would probably consider other legal options, before even looking into organ harvesting. i would like to say that i would never turn to organ harvesting...but who knows

Well in this situation the options is wait for 20 yrs or harvesting

"i would like to say that i would never turn to organ harvesting...but who knows"

So you are going to let your beloved die just like that?

Emmabelle she did say she would look into other options First, so obviously she wouldn't just let them die first. I would do the same in that situation. illegal organ harvesting would probably won't be the only option to save a person.

in this type of situation is there a really morally sound decision?
we all have our own priorities and values; no matter what we choose it won’t be a decision that brings any satisfaction to us.

Pretty good! Although I am on lockdown during the school holidays :( it has been very productive for my reading. I have missed these days where I can read all day and however long I want. That will sadly stop when I go back to work but I am embracing it while I can :)

What about you Darcey? How are you going?

Yes I am in NSW, and sadly it looks like we will continue to go on lockdown for some time. Kinda sucks but at the same time, I am getting things done at home that I have been wanting to do for a while

I am glad you finished your homework! Which subjects gave you homework? Which gave you the most?

That's awesome. I was hoping that would be me as well during these holidays, sadly not but when the restrictions lift, I am going on a weekend getaway! I miss those hikes

Ready for school this week?
