I've bought Circe, If We Were Villains, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (this really cute pink version with blue sprayed edges). Originally I was going to get more but my dad insisted I spread out my spending :P

Also funny thing with Circe, I had called my bookstore a little while back intending on ordering it, but the person on the phone told me that they didn't have it and that I couldn't order the hardcover because it was out of print, and then asked if I wanted to preorder the paperback that releases in April. And I was like WTF but okay, so I did that. But then, when I walked into the bookstore, lo and behold, there was Circe standing proud and beautiful on the stand next to the customer service desk and I was like WTF??? I've been lied to??

And that was confusing. But I finally got my hands on Circe (which was actually really damn expensive), so I'm happy.

So did you get the paperback or the hardcover? ? Lol, Circe better be good, huh?

I enjoyed it but it's kinda slow and there isn't much of a climax. It's just her story. I would suggest not expect a big twist or something.

Aqi I had that feeling a few weeks ago, it was awful :(
Still feeling it sometimes which is why I trying to read smaller and lighter books now. I think I read too many heavy books the last few weeks :( maybe you should read smaller books too?

I am reading smaller books now, but maybe it's not the books. I couldn't get time to read the last couple of days tbh. And when I'm away from books then I drift further away for a while.

But yes, January was packed with heavy books for me too (we did read several together too) and maybe that's half a reason too.

I was, but I finished summer school so now I have a fee weeks before the new semester starts so I'm hoping to finish the BRs I have and read some arcs I've been given! So busy fee weeks Haha

I got the hardcover. The supposed "out of print" one, lol.

Hmm, I had heard a lot of really good things about Circe (though I wasn't sure what I was supposed to expect, since I didn't know much about it), and was really looking forward to it because GREEK MYTHOLOGY. And that's always fun.

But I'll keep that in mind while reading! I still hope I enjoy it though, even though I prefer big plot twists and climaxes.

Lol, I agree! I love her and I hate her, lol. That's great :) I'm also partly free and hoping to read lots in this month (which seems to pass rather quickly), so I just didn't want any slumps showing up.

I'm also going to read 2 arcs. I'm sure I'd love them both! Also reading books fitting to challenges and I am in a couple of BRs. I'm gonna try and not sign up for more.
