I think it common in Tameside because I always hear my friends complaining about it and I see it in my local newspapers too. Trains are the worst as well. There are a lot of train delays (Not saying I use it).

Haha yes 4 years will be paid off, how exciting!
Well, you always can study once your working, but I understand how hard it'll be to go back to studying haha

Well, I have been doing professional experience at a childcare this semester, so I was in the babies room (0-2years). I was there for 2 weeks, and I'm going back to spend another 2 weeks soon
Next year, I'll be in the preschool room (3-5years) I think for 35 days and for my last semester I'll be doing primary school classes I think 40 days

So we do get practicing each semester

And you? Did you do any practices ?

He is from the UK and lived his life abandoned.

That's fine. Thank you so much! Bardugo just creates this magical yet almost endless world. The characters are flawed yet beautiful human beings in their own way. The series finale books always end the story beautifully and break my heart in the process.

It helps to let him predict what the story will be about and then checking if his predictions were right. So start by examining the cover and the book's title: what do they tell you about the story you're about to read? Discuss that with him.
Do the same before each of the chapters.
Examine also the pictures in that chapter, what do they tell you?

So divide the book into smaller chunks to discuss, like chapters or if chapters prove too difficult at this point in time, you could even discuss per page.
Is it easier for him to comprehend what the story is about if you read it? Then maybe he can read, but the process of reading still takes up too much mental energy to be a able to focus on what is being read at the same time.
Or are the questions too specific/detailled, demanding a lot from his memory? Can he tell you in his own words what the story is about, just not recall certain details?

Also his teacher should be able to help you with this question I think?

Good luck Anne!
