Hi, I'm looking for this book that I read a few years ago now. It has a dropped birthday cake on the front cover (possibly on white floorboards. It was about a new mother (I think she might have been living in London) who has a small baby. Towards the beginning, she talks about taking her baby for walks in the park every day even though she knows the fresh air makes no difference to the baby. She hires a nanny who she gets along with at first but then things turn a bit weird. I'm not entirely sure how it ends but I believe the new nanny might have kidnapped the baby because she has previously lost a baby.

What did the mother do before having the baby (e.g., job/skills/interests)? Are there other characters - father of the baby, family/friends?
