ABANDONED. YA Dystopian Fantasy/Post-apocalyptic

This is a young adult dystopian fantasy book where the world is being taken over by aliens. The aliens have this black armor that has weird tarry slicky slimey black juices on the inside. The story focuses around a young girl who was in love with this bad boy who had a brother. They are in a group of teenagers at a camp. The world ends and they're all stuck together. There are casualties, one of which is the protagonist's BF (who was screwing another member of their group). His brother is alive and there is some weirdness where he wants to be with the main character, but she's not super down. Something happens, not sure she gets separated. Anyways, one of the aliens who has been kind of following her decides to save her and he falls in love with her. They form a bond and she almost dies but there is a cliffhanger at the end when she might be alive?
