Haha, I LOVE Rane!

And just to let you know Nicki, I'm really, really super hyped about this book!

But then again I'm super hyped about all your books. =D Can't wait to see A Time of Trepidation, Pirates, and Lost Princesses published!

Nicki Chapelway | 2171 comments Guess who is back to this project with a shiny new plot and a plan for eleven books!!!

Nicki Chapelway | 2171 comments Total words as of 1/15/20- 14,600

Excerpt: Calrin froze for a whole second, while the computer in his brain ran facial recognition and pulled up all the open net files on this man. Not that Calrin needed it. He’d recognized the bounty hunter before his computer even had. Which was a first. But this was a very special circumstance.
“Oh you have got to be kidding me,” he muttered. “Six years and you show up like this.”

First off I love this scene! Calrin is great, and the fact he has a computer in his brain makes him even more great. XD

Next off, eleven books? You go girl! Can't wait to see them!

Nicki Chapelway | 2171 comments I don't even know what I'm thinking writing eleven books in this series XD My only consolation is that they will definitely be shorter than my usual novels. I'm trying out writing this more like a TV series than an actual novel series so when you hear me screaming incoherently over here you will know why.

Nicki Chapelway | 2171 comments Total words as of 1/27/20- 17,000

I now have a title and a synopsis.

The title

.
.
.
Finite Zero, Season One: The Prison Ship

The series name is Finite Zero and each book will be a different season XD

And the synopsis

.
.
.
.
Rane Catlea is a petty thief who thought she was one assignment away from retiring a wealthy woman and finally buying herself some equipment that actually worked.

Kyeler Ormanor is a feared bounty hunter who has never failed an assignment and doesn’t intend to start now.

Calrin Ormanor is a crackshot pilot who just needed a quick job to buy repairs.

What they weren’t expecting was to be recruited by a galactic wide police system known as the Federation. Caught in a web of blackmail, this unlikely trio find themselves on a rescue mission to save a team of agents who disappeared during a prison ship inspection.

The reward? Their freedom.

If they fail? Well Calrin doesn’t know how to fail, Kyeler doesn’t intend to, and Rane would rather not die.

But there is much more to this prison ship than meets the eye. Illegal tests, deadly diseases, a ticking bomb, and an ancient relic that a notorious crime syndicate will do anything to get their hands on are the least of their problems. Something else is on that ship. Something unnatural. And it is on the hunt. Rane, Kyeler, and Calrin are going to have to learn to trust each other and work together and they better do it fast before that bomb goes off. Or else this prison ship will end up being their grave.
