Hello Ella,
I would very much like to have a review from you. I have written a series of four science fiction/fantasy books for juvenile readers which I believe will appeal to teen readers as well. If you are interested, you can check out the first three on Goodreads or Amazon.com. (The fourth will be published in the next week or so.) I will be happy to send you a PDF file of any of the four.
Thanks for your time.

I saw you were accepting book review opportunities and wanted to jump in and offer my YA horror novel Parasite Life. It came out in January 2018 thru ChiZine publications ChiTeen Label. I would be honored if you'd be willing to take the time to give it a read and post an honest review on goodreads/amazon.

Jane lives alone in a strange old house with her invalid mother who has been catatonic for years, afflicted by a strange wasting disease. But the friendship of a new girl in town, Sabrina, will push Jane to unearth the mysteries of her mother’s past and the dark history of her missing father, forcing her to face a monstrous lineage and the cost of her dark life.

ADVANCE PRAISE FOR
PARASITE LIFE
"Victoria Dalpe's stellar debut novel suggests that sometimes you consume the ones you love. The prose is tough and unsentimental, yet evocative in its depiction of the cancerous nature of abuse. Parasite Life battens down on you-insidious and predatory."
-Laird Barron, author of Blood Standard
"How do you breathe new life into the YA vampire novel? If you're Victoria Dalpe, you do it by wrapping a refreshingly humanistic interior and an incredibly compelling narrative voice in the Gothic, primal, atavistic horror that made the children of the night sing to us in the first place."
-Orrin Grey, author of Painted Monsters & Other Strange Beasts
"In Victoria Dalpe's compelling debut, seventeen-year-old Jane DeVry shares a house in a small New Hampshire town with a mother suffering from a mysterious condition whose symptoms include mysterious wounds and sudden bouts of screaming. When the friendship of a new student at school awakens new desires in her, Jane sets out to learn who she is, beginning an odyssey that takes her first into her mother's old journal, and then to the art scene in contemporary Manhattan, in search of a father she has never known. Smart, gripping, and possessed of real emotional depth, Parasite Life invokes the traditions of the Gothic while taking the form boldly into the twenty-first century."
-John Langan, author of The Fisherman
"Already trapped in a claustrophobic life which forces her to play caretaker to her own mentally ill mother, teenaged Jane is finally forced to confront the secrets and lies which surround her when her attraction to Sabrina, a new girl at school, awakens hungers too violent to ignore. Victoria Dalpe's Parasite Life is a coolly sensual slice of darkness that reads like Anne Rice for the post-Twilight age."
-Gemma Files, Shirley Jackson and Sunburst Award- winning author of Experimental Film

HI, Victoria!

I don't read erotic romance, I'm sorry, but thank you for your request, I appreciate it :)

My name is Guillermo Stitch and my short novel, Literature®, will be available via Amazon and Kindle from July 1st.
I'm happy (delighted in fact) to provide ARC's in pdf, mobi or epub formats in exchange for advance Goodreads reviews.
It's a science fiction noir. Here's the blurb:
We don't know exactly when Literature® takes place and we don't know exactly where. All we know is that Philip Marlowe would fit right in.
We don't get Marlowe though. We get Billy Stringer. And Billy is on nobody's trail.
He's the prey.
The day hasn't begun very well for Billy. He just messed up his first big assignment, he's definitely going to be late for work, his girlfriend won't get back to him and, for reasons she has something to do with, he's dressed like a clown.
Also, he's pretty sure someone is going to kill him today. But then, that's an occupational hazard, when you're a terrorist.
He's a bookworm too, which wouldn't be a problem–or particularly interesting–except that in Billy's world, fiction is banned. Reading it is what makes him an outlaw.
Why? Because people need to get to work.
It's fight or flight time for Billy and he's made his choice. But he has to see Jane, even if it's for the last time–to explain it all to her, before she finds out what he has become. That means staying alive for a little while.
And the odds are against him....
Although this is my fiction debut, my work has already garnered praise when privately workshopped with published authors, none of whom were friends of mine. Examples:
"A fine, engaging, playful and original piece of work." Charles Boyle, author of The Age of Cardboard and String and owner of CB Editions, a leading small press in the U.K.
"The most astounding thing I've read in years." Matt Dennison, Rattle, Monkey Puzzle, Gargoyle Magazine.
"Better than Anthony Burgess at his utter best." James Lloyd Davis, Eric Hoffer Prose Award
"Groovy language - a delight to read." Penny Goring, leading light in British Altlit.
If you have any interest, please get in touch!
You can find the book at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Thanks!

Hi Ella,
I wondered if you were still open to reviewing books? I have a teen paranormal fantasy story I'm looking for readers for:
In the sleepy town of Northam, Massachusetts, not everyone is who they seem to be.
Take Scott Whitney, for example. An underrated high school senior, Scott wants nothing more than to have his much-divided family believe him when he comes to them with something important, no matter how often he disregards their rules.
One night, Scott catches his father’s beautiful colleague, Maria, drinking his father’s blood in their office parking lot. When his father has no recollection of this event, and gets weaker the more he spends time with Maria, Scott turns to his mother and sister for help.
It’s not until he does some research on his own, though, that he figures out what’s going on—and how hard it will be to get someone to believe him if he tells.
Isolated by what he knows, Scott must stop Maria from draining his father of blood before she kills him, or worse: turns his father into a vampire, too.
Thank you,
CL

It's so refreshing to see someone that reviews poetry. I think people who put in the time to do reviews are probably going to be reborn as house cats in the next life, able to lie around and get some sun and be spoiled :)

Hello, Holly!
I love reading poetry! I've also noticed that a lot of people have poetry under the genres they don't accept, which I know makes authors, like you, who write poetry hard to get reviewers.

Hi Ella,
I’m a new author planning to publish soon on Amazon.
What Your Soul Already Knows
My book “What Your Soul Already Knows” is an exploration of elements such as personal qualities, interpersonal skills and healthy habits that make up the path to intuitive happiness and productivity.
I see that you've written that you're iffy about self-help but since mine avoids jargon and is quite a light read, I think you might like it.
Would you be interested in reviewing my book?

Fantasy/Adult Fiction
The Sylph's Tale
I would greatly appreciate a reviewing of Book One, of IMMORTALS, - the series: The Sylph’s Tale, Fantasy, 15,370 words novella.
Introduces main characters of the series and only one that takes place in prehistoric times. A story of love, discovery, and magic loosely based on the “sons of Gods” as in the Torah and Genesis 6.
Ages after witnessing creation the Archangel of Light is in his earthly paradise when a girl runs to escape a barbaric ritual. Voices order “take your Eve” after he obeys he's damned to be a being without a soul. His name becomes Ayekah: as in “Where are you?” He names her Haya or Eve. Haya has special powers, and she and other virgins birth the first generations of angel/humans.
Together they change her cave society. After her death, Ayekah traverses the world until he tempts other angels to sin with women. The Almighty sets out wiping out the angel/human offspring, but the Dragon of Eternity saves many. Ayekah returns to Haya's crypt until Haya commands: “Ayekah it is time.”

Let me know if you will be able to help :)

Hello Ella,

Three college juniors. A swim team. A manipulative coach. Unexpected life circumstances. A girl struggling with her sexuality. A story that you will not forget.
Angels Can’t Swim is a novella that captures so many elements of the life of a student-athlete, from mental health to sexuality to relationships. While partially a story about swimming, it is also the story of finding yourself, finding your voice, and figuring out who you want to be. Focusing on college students and those around them but dealing with issues that cross the lifespan, readers from young adult all the way up will all enjoy this book and find something in one of the characters that sounds a little bit like them.

I have a poetry book that I would like you to review. It's a journey of one man and based through his life and poetry.
Hope you get to review this book Life's Breath - Love: The Breath of Life is Love
Thank you!

My book The Sylph's Tale, the first book of my Immortals-series. I would say its adult fiction, some say fantasy/paranormal. I am at present editing book two.
Logline: I shouldn't have returned to Earth after, as a salamander, I slid into a river between a man and a virgin. My task was to witness Earth’s evolution when a girl running from rape came appeared and a Celestial voice demanded, “Take your Eve.” After we made love she demanded, “Take me back to my people.” “Use wings.” I was left with nothing, dammed to be eternal without a soul.
Excerpts of comments by readers on Amazon:
· intriguing and innovative tale. Marta has talent and a unique story.
· is amazing. You will never forget it. A deep, meaningful tale,
· found myself really caught up in the heroine's life
· had just enough paranormal and great character... I like the book.
· nice story with an interesting plot.
· The imagery is remarkable and each paragraph pulls me forward
· Good book. Enjoyable and entertaining book to read.
· A very short but interesting story...has a very interesting premise.
Thank you and very best regards!
