Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Ansel claims that the Silent Assassins could do more to help others instead of selling their skills to the highest bidder. Is her point legitimate? Does it mitigate her actions against them?

Lieke | 83 comments I think they could do more, but it is still a guild that wants to make money.
And maybe if she had been honest they would have helped her (for a price).

I agree. They could do more but this does not excuse her treachery.

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I agree with Lauren. The Master did take her in and let her staying knowing her background. That should count for something.

Maybe they could do more but I already think they’re doing a lot. You don’t see any women and children as part of Arobynn’s structure (Celaena is the only female). The Mute Master is creating a community that will be able to sustain itself. I’m not certain what else may be going on with those foreign visitors.

Ansel bit the hand that was feeding her. No excuse.

It did really feel like a community and a home. I was kind of disappointed that Celaena didn't stay but there would be no story if she had.

She has to continue her own journey and come to terms with the world she left.
