Brian | 3 comments I am looking for a novel about an author whose books are so dense as to be unreadable. In fact his books give people headaches. I believe there was another author in the story whose books were quite popular.

Michele | 2231 comments I assume this was fiction. Was the entire plot centered around the unreadability of the author's books, or was that just a side issue? If the main plot, what was the story arc -- trying to fix his writing problems, trying to convince him he has a problem, etc.? Was it short, medium, epic-length? When and where was the book set? Do you recall what these unreadable books were (history, fiction, romance, etc.)?
