SOLVED. Thriller/Fantasy - woman discovers the ability to spot killers by looking into their eyes. People try to kill her. A man who knows her abilities helps her. [s]

I read a book within the past few years and I cannot remember it or find it in any searches I've tried - so hopefully someone can help! The plot goes something like this:
A woman can tell who is a killer based on a feeling she gets when she looks into someone's eyes. This is ability (has a name) hasn't always be present to her but after she discovers it, people come after her and try and kill her.
She meets a man who tries to help (I believe he works for some underground or government secret agency). He doesn't have the same ability but have helped people like her before. He explains to her who she is and how there are people out there who are the opposite (i.e. can see that she has the ability to see killers but can't see killers themselves). And basically, they want to destroy her kind so bad people can get away with bad stuff, etc.
The man tries to get her to work with his agency and there is a scene at an airport where she uses her ability. There is a lot of action/fights and leaves off on a twist/cliffhanger (making me hope they continue the story).
If someone has any idea what this book is, that'd be awesome as it's been driving me crazy! Thanks :)
