There is mention in this novella and the previous one that magic once existed, but vanished when the fae were executed or banished. Thoughts on this plot device and what it could mean for the main series.

I'm hoping that at some point we learn more about the fae and their fate. I'm wondering if Celaena isn't part fae with her light hair and pale complexion. I think we may see magic return slowly throughout the series with Celaena being the main reason for it. At least I'm hoping do.

I also believe that the fae and magic will slowly return. I'm very interested in seeing how this plays out.

A lot of possibilities there, but I’m sure we will learn more about that. Hopefully the magic will come back in the world because of something she does.

Not sure if it will come back or not. It would make for a really interesting twist to Celaena's character.
