What Are You Reading in April 2018?

I started Fire Dance. It's lovely. No surprise there :)

I just finished Children of Time which is (to my mind) classic SF at its best; I highly recommend this book (has it been read by the group?). Now about to start Tess of the Road

Actually it was the SF book of the month for February. I also highly recommend Dragon's Egg for anyone who enjoyed Children of Time.

This was on sale a few weeks ago at Kobo, and I think Kindle. I picked up a copy. I was quite sure what my next SF read was but right now its a fight between Dragon's Egg and End of an Era by Robert J. Sawyer

A different discussion group here at Goodreads to which I belong is reading the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind beginning in May. I have never read these books, and I know they seem to evoke strong opinions. I am about 40% done with the first, Wizard's First Rule. I also finished The Demon Cycle series by Peter V. Brett with book 5, The Core.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of that one, Kathi. I liked the first book well enough to continue to the second and third, but wasn't impressed by the writing and stopped after that.
