I kind of want Liesl and Kathe to leave, but I also would feel terrible for their mother if they left her to deal with Contanze on her own. Contanze is sure becoming mad. What is up with Josef?? Something seems to be happening to him when he plays Der Elkonig. I hope this picks up soon, I'm slightly bored with it rn (hide spoiler)]

Also, I need to know what the Count and Countess are hiding. Are they villains or are they truly trying to protect Liesl? I don't know what to think! Also, Josef/changeling boy ran off and jumped into the lake so he's gone I guess!? Aghhhhhh (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ I loved the ending!! The last 80-100 pages were freaking great! I was so angry when Josef ran away, but everything worked out. I think Sepperl will make a great Goblin King. And Wolfgang, okay I kinda laughed when that was his name, just because of the fact that he was a wolf boy. But I'm really happy he got to be with Liesl. (hide spoiler)]

I was worried I wouldn't! Everyone saying it had none of the magic that Wintersong had. I'm currently loving the set up and writing is just as beauitful as the first book so fingers crossed.

I think it had the same amount of magic as Wintersong and I really liked the ending of this whereas the ending of the first book left me frustrated. The only thing about the second one that was not as good was the pacing--I kept almost falling asleep XD

I am actually loving this book as much as the first one so far, I was super worried that I wouldn't like since I've seen some pretty alarming reviews!
