Nominations are now open for May 2018!

Katie Fisher, Kelly Irvin, Amy Lillard, and Samantha Price are exempt from nomination in 2018 as we've already read one of their books this year, although we may make exceptions for novella collections that include one of these authors. If you're not sure if your book is eligible for nomination, please leave a comment and one of the moderators will get back to you!

Rules:
1. Any Amish-themed novel is eligible.
2. One nomination per person.
3. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
4. Nominations run until the 14th of the month, with the winner announced on the 15th.
5. The winning book is chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
6. Please don't nominate a book we have already read. You can see our list of previous group reads here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or look at the group read's bookshelf here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books... (it includes the Christian group read as well).
7. Only nominate the first book in a series UNLESS we have already read #1 (see above link). In this case, #2 is then eligible for nomination!

Nominate away!!

#1 - The Haven (Stoney Ridge Seasons, #2) by Suzanne Woods Fisher -- Natalie
#2 - Where Secrets Sleep (House of Secrets, #1) by Marta Perry -- Carolyn
#3 - What the Bishop Saw (Amish Bishop Mysteries, #1) by Vannetta Chapman -- Barbara
#4 - What the Bishop Saw (Amish Bishop Mysteries, #1) by Vannetta Chapman -- Donna
#5 -

Natalie (creativecountry0407gmailcom) | 1130 comments I will nominate The Haven (Stoney Ridge Seasons #2) by Suzanne Woods Fisher since we read The Keeper (Stoney Ridge Seasons #1) by Suzanne Woods Fisher last year.

Carolyn | 0 comments my nomination suggestion is a mystery Kappy King and the Puppy Kaper (An Amish Mystery #1) by Amy Lillard
it's available at the library, also I guess I can't use this nomination as we just read one of her novels; so if anyone is interested in adding to thier TBR shelf, I will leave the posting and look for another choice

Carolyn | 0 comments I will nominate Where Secrets Sleep (House of Secrets #1) by Marta Perry ; I don't see that this author has been on the nomination since 2015

I think I'll nominate "What the Bishop Saw." It's the first book in Vannetta Chapman's Amish Bishop Mysteries.

Carolyn | 0 comments Barbara, that book is also available at library; if readers don't want to purchase books

That is on my TBR list. So I vote for it also.

Sorry for the delay group. I've been under the weather this past weekend.

Our group read for May is...

Thanks for the nomination Natalie!
