“…people believe what they want to believe” is what says it all. Sometimes things are just kept alive to rake up emotions by those in power and particularly those in the opposition, just like the Bofors case even when everything has hit a dead end. The fact is that Netaji’s end is a mystery like many a soldier who never returned from battle, and unless somebody did a comprehensive research on it and conclusively laid things to rest, politicians will keep the controversy alive for electoral gimmicks. – Pali Reen
