Rivka said somewhere in a thread** that (the same) editions shown with and without a slipcase should not be merged, but regarded as ACEs* (which I disagree with, but there you go).

Then you can just leave it be. Folio Society editions do not have ISBNs either, and if separate entries have been added for an edition showing the cover with and without slipcase they should both stay according to rivka.
This edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... shows the cover coming out of a slipcase. I have never seen a book displayed like this.
Is this correct? If not should I put in delete thread so it can be merged with the first edition hard cover.
Librarian's Manual Cover images uploaded should only be an image of the actual front cover (which will typically have title and author on it), and should not be an image of the art used to later create the book cover.
